Kirby's Baby Shower

February 20th was the date for Kirby' baby shower. A few people couldn't make it due to weather. But had a nice group and a nice time. Here they are racking their brains with some games.
Little Marley got a lot of nice things. Here is a bright yellow sock monkey that brought a smile to Kirby and will do the same for Marley one of these days.

Here is the quilt I made for her. It is called Butterfly Kisses.

Great Grandma Mary Ann, Grandma Angie, Momma Kirby and Great Grandma Connie.

We had a lot of good food and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. A couple of Kirby's friend brought their little girls and they kept us entertained. Kirby is ready to hold this baby and will be glad when she comes.

Feburary with my Sweetie

Such a different visit from last month!!!. I had so much fun with Kyann. We played and read and laughed. Don't know what happened but she actually wanted to be with me. She does so many funny things. She would come and get me by the hand and take me upstairs or downstairs to play for a few minutes. Grandma finally had to say no more. The knees were giving out but she was a good sport about it. Daddy and Momma went to dinner and a movie for Valentines day.

She still is a dare devil. Climbing on everything. Don't tell ,but Grandma is getting her a climbing castle for her birthday. Look at that face. It just says " And what are you going to do about it".
She liked wearing my slippers but the were a tad big. Looks almost like fuzzy skis. She would take a couple of steps then kick them off and we would both laugh.

She still loves being outside as you can tell from her face. She had been kissing the snow or eating it, I'm not sure which. But it tickled her.

Then the funniest thing. She would go and sit down in a pile of snow and wait for Shane to come and give her a shovel ride. She just squealed. Then she would find another pile of snow to sit in and just wait for her ride. Daddy never disappointed her. So cute.

Copeland Jam

Tonight was the monthly jam at Darryl's house. It was their 40th wedding anniversary. So they served ice cream and cake. Dan played most of the evening. I did the required 6 songs x 2. I actually played Whiskey before breakfast with only a couple of mistakes. I was very proud even if my instructor wasn't. Don't get to go next month cause its Kyann's birthday party.

Sue's Birthday

Had a wonderful time celebrating Sue's birthday. We went to Vivo's on Broadway and the food was very good as you can see from the picture. Round the table me, Becky, Sherri, Sue and Katie. We went back to my house after to play games and have Italian Coconut Cream cake. UMMMMM. The games never materialized as we were too full. But the cake was very good.
