This was Cindy's 40th birthday. Makes me feel really old. Shane had planned a party with the in laws and outlaws. He had an idea for all of us to participate in helping her cross something off her bucket list. The something was a HOT AIR BALLOON RIDE !!! Everyone pitched in and I think she was surprised and pleased. However Mother nature did not cooperate with the weather. The plan was for all of us to meet and have an early supper and then go and watch her take off, but it was too windy. Hopefully soon the winds will die down. We had a nice time though. Tired to play some games but the only time it rained was then. She had her favorite angel food cake as you can see. There were a few black balloons and plates but she doesn't look forty .
